The Model 800 tubing notcher has an operator adjusted eccentric path that requires only one cuter to notch weld
joints on tubing, pipe, or solids with outside diameters of 1 inch to 3 inch. This unique feature means the Model
800 tube notcher tooling cost savings are on going. Notching under 1 inch is achieved by installing optional 1/2
inch cutter and adapter bushing. Notch quicker and cleaner than abrasive style machines without sparks, dust, and
excessive heat. Does not contaminate the weld joint, offering more strength in weld. No ongoing costly abrasive belt
replacement or need for costly spindles for different size tube or pipe. This is how to notch pipe.

This tube notcher comes standard with one spindle and two belts. The RMD Abrasive Tubing Notcher uses abrasive belts that can be
sourced locally, which reduces operation cost. The Model 900 pipe notcher has a lever feed mechanism that offers effortless tube
notching and has a positive stop for repetitive notches. Abrasive belts can be changed quickly due to our unique belt tensioning
system. Automatic belt tension system reduces tracking issues, and adjusts to accommodate for any stretching. Proper tension
extends belt life. Notch up to 3 inch OD. Tube coping machine.

The thing that sets our corner notchers apart from other sheet metal equipment out there is our patented blade gap adjustment
that allows the operator to cut different thicknesses without any adjustments needed by the operator. This allows our blades
to last longer and gives us a nice burr free cut. Our machines shear with the blades in the negative position as well as the
positive position. Which one you use is based on which part you want to keep, the finished part pulled from the machine (best
is Negative) or the dropped piece (best is Positive). Negative cut allows for less deformation on the finished part. Negative
cutting clamps the sheet metal down so there isn't any movement. This is a hydraulic machine.

The shearing head is the most rigid in the industry because we employ a five point fixed head. A stable shearing head is very
important to blade life, and machine life when notching heavier plate. Regarding our variable angle notchers, the variable angle
blades are fixed in three positions. The pivot point and the end points of each blade is fixed after adjustment to angle is made.
This type of rigidity separates us from other sheet metal fabricating equipment on the market. Our notcher with punching capabilities
has the punching station in the front of the machine. Many other brands have the punching station in the back of the machine that
means you have to waste valuable floor space, because you can't put the machine against a wall. This is a hydraulic machine.
