The BB-12014 sheet metal brake is 120" wide to allow for 4' x 8' sheets to be bent at up to 45°. This box and pan brake has 26 fingers of different sizes that allow for metal bending of most size box and pans, even up to 6" deep. The apron is stabilized by a heavy-duty electro-welded steel frame. This machine weighs in at almost 3500 lbs(1591 kg) and supports a heavy duty truss rod system for supporting the apron during maximum capacity bends. The apron shafts ride in precision maintenance free bearings allowing for better bend tolerances, more accuracy, and less operator fatigue. The apron is also supported by two massive counter weights that further reduce operator fatigue even at maximum capacity. This brake is ready to provide decades of serious use at this machine's maximum capacity of 18 gauge stainless and 14 gauge mild steel. The BB-12014 accepts the entire length of sheet metal at 45 degrees, allowing for angle crimps to add support to long duct pieces, and can handle up to 14 gauge mild steel. Of course the individual hardened fingers can allow for straight bending or box and pan configurations.
